Sadly the last of the purple hotels was sold by the administrator of RHC this week and the brand has now been retired. New owners and or operators are now running all of the previous hotels operated by purple. We wish them, the staff at the hotels and you, our customers, well in these difficult times.

The ethos under which we operated purple hotels is something that the management and staff of the hotels believe in deeply; simply put hotels should be somewhere safe, comfortable and fun to stay and work.

We still think that we know a thing or two about what a low cost but high quality hotel should look & feel like and we hope & plan to bring purple back to life at some future time. When and if that happens your email will ping or flash or whatever it is that emails do. Right now getting equity, banks and landlords to agree on anything other than that it is all the other one’s fault is like trying to eat soup with a fork so it may take a wee while.

So until we meet again, have a good year, goodbye & thanks. As customers go you were pretty cool.
